I had a Mellow Yellow "How would you stay smooth" moment this morning, spilling lotion onto my lap at my desk.
I chose option A: Stand up examine the suspicious-looking stain and then almost fall out of your chair when you sit down. « thursday, august 1 »

I'm not a sociologist or anything but I got a theory, seeing that I went to school there. Fayetteville is HOT AS HELL, compared to the rest of the state. If you already got some issues, they will simmer in that heat, and something's probably going to give.
the pope is old. he looks more like 'pop' than pope.
doesn't the Vatican have a retirement plan? that's just plain mean, making that man walk up and down them airline stairs all the time and wear that big pointy hat while struggling to support his own weight.

this light fixture outside is crowded. a buzzing spot to say the least. large strangers reside within, be careful! slumber is disturbed in the twilight by the din raised by the smallest stranger. It summons the large stranger. I am struck by something plaid. Oh! damaged, I am thrust out to the waiting jaws of the ferocious feline beast. Ah, the sweet release of death! « wednesday, july 31 »

in the last 48 hours on my property I've seen a heron, 3 ducks, a stray cat stalking said ducks, a rabbit, a skunk and various birds (including one I swear was an extinct species) but no geese, go figure. « tuesday, july 30 »
i just posted a passionate fiery rant of a blog and it disappeared. don't you hate that? the passion's gone now.
Basically CompUSA's service sucks. Best Buy got the sale. The only reason I still go back is because I got a $30 gift certificate from a previous bad experience.
I got a compliment yesterday, from out of left field, and I couldn't tell if it was sincere or sarcastic at first based on the source and the delivery. I decided to go with the former and acquire the big head.

I started to watch Double Indemnity on the old movie channel. It start Fred McMurray (The original Flubber and My Three Sons, right?)and Barbara Stanwick (if you remember Falcon Crest I think she was in it). I have never watched any old black and white movies, save for The Wizard of Oz and It's A Wonderful Life. I'mma get caught up one day, but not today. Edward G. Robinson was in it too. the guy who's often imitated in the old Warner Brother's cartoons as the catfish mouthed gangster. What struck me in the 1/2 hour that I watched it how things change with the times. Everyone wore suits, shared passionate closed-mouthed kisses, but old boy could order a beer at the drive-in restaurant and drink it in the car. and oh yeah, everyone smoked. all the time.
work's been slow lately and I've been trying to keep busy. online training has a narcotic effect. So I've been going out to flash sites and trying to deconstruct and recreate different techniques I've seen. I had to dust of the programming cobwebs but I did a fair bit of Actionscripting today, the most I've done from scratch. I might submit this to Flashkit. I've been addicted to smoothies. I hit up the Juice shop twice a day. I need to hold some shares. beware the Blueberry smoothie, it will leave you with a Hee Haw smile.

one time, I had this dream there were regular looking people on Fear Factor, Dog Eat Dog and the stage and front row of BET's Comic View.

I was wondering how far away we were from the display screens seen in Red Planet
Roll up for the floppy television "First they went wider, then flatter, and now televisions are set to go floppy. Roll-up, flexible televisions, akin to the melting watches of Salvador Dali's surreal landscapes, have become possible thanks to a glowing plastic compound perfected in the laboratories of Britain's Cambridge Display Technology (CDT)."
